Sunday Concerts in the Park

Taking advantage of the cooler weather during December, January and February, each year the BSO presents a series of Sunday concerts in Lumpini Park, the heart of Bangkok. A ‘gift’ to the people of Bangkok, the concerts are free, thanks to sponsorship from Boon Rawd Brewery and the co-operation of the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority. In the cool of the late afternoon, the wide-ranging repertoire encompassing western classics, Thai classical music and popular music from Broadway and the movies is enjoyed by audiences of 2,000 and more. Over almost 20 years, these concerts have introduced tens of thousands of Thais of all ages to the BSO and the glories of orchestral music.
